Exams
We are currently seeing patients on Mondays and Thursdays from 9-5, Tuesdays from 8-5, Wednesdays 1-5:30, and Fridays 10-2.
We have Spanish interpretation available on Mondays and Tuesday. Whether you wear glasses or contacts, it's a good idea to get a yearly eye exam to see if you have new or existing vision problems, and if you need vision correction. There is more to an eye exam than just determining your correct glasses or contacts prescription. A comprehensive eye exam is an important part of maintaining your overall health. Just by looking at your eyes, we can detect early signs of serious health conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and glaucoma.
Glasses
There are glasses to suit everyone's style in our office. We have carefully chosen designer frames of the latest fashions from brands like Ray Ban, Kate Spade, Modo, Morel, and more. Choosing your glasses can be a difficult decision and we are here to assist you. While we strive to provide top of the line products, it is the service you receive at Dr. Nate's that is second to none. We strive for 100% satisfaction and provide a 2 year warranty for scratches with Crizal Alize No-Glare lenses.
Contacts
After a special eye examination we evaluate your eyes and determine which type of contact lens will best suit your individual needs. We keep current on all the latest contact lenses available, including the newest breathable, bifocal, and multifocal contacts. Dr. Nate will fit you with a trial pair of contacts and have you wear them for a few days to make sure you are satisfied with the lenses before writing a prescription. Proper lens care is very important to contact lens wearers and overall eye health.
Pediatrics
Like any trip to a doctor, kids might be scared to see an eye doctor. But some optometrists, like Dr. Nate, are skilled at working with children and make eye exams fun for kids. Eye examinations are crucial for children because 80% of what a child learns is presented visually. If your child squints or has frequent headaches, it may be an indication that your child needs glasses. However, all children should be examined as some eye conditions or eye strain may not be obvious.
Dr. Nate participates in infantSEE and will provide a comprehensive infant eye assessment between 6 and 12 months of age as a no-cost public service.
